Our Services

In response to evolving demands of Clients and in anticipation of future changes in the construction industry Banks Wood has diversified from the core business of quantity surveying and now provides a wide range of services:

Quantity Surveying

Banks Wood has provided quantity surveying services for the construction industry since 1949. We now utilise modern quantity surveying techniques to cover all aspects of financial control; including feasibility studies, procurement advice, cost planning, comparative cost studies, tender documentation, post contract cost control and settlement of final accounts.

Our quantity surveyors provide pro-active reporting and cost control to the Client as an integral member of but also independent from the design and construction teams.

Project Management and Project Co-Ordination

Banks Wood recognising the Client’s requirements for projects to run on time, to budget and to meet space and quality criteria provide hands on leadership, motivation and management, to relieve Clients of the inevitable worries associated with complex schemes, and to act as a single point of contact for the Client in terms of responsibility and reporting.

Whether the Client’s requirement is for project management, or for the “Team Leader” approach of project co-ordination, Banks Wood will assist in developing the Client’s brief, establish project strategy and work with the project design team to achieve a successful project outcome.

Banks Wood provide Employer’s Agent services to Clients wishing to procure their building on a “design and build” basis.
